Malcolm Dam

We have been here for 5 days, might go tomorrow depends on the weather. If it rains it might get a bit sticky getting out !

We have done our best to catch the kids with the 3 days we missed due to packing and getting on the road. The four hours we were told to do a day is a lot, with breaks and lunch. Then off to gold prospect (still looking!) The kids have really enjoyed having their bikes and being able to explore around the dam. Then there is the marking of said school work - oh joy poor me !

Jurg has been busy sorting out the battery/solar/inverter problems ! He has been the handyman on call to put up hooks and fix things in place - driving can be a little hazardous !!

You know as we are on holidays I would expect LESS washing ..... nope not the case - as Jurg found out today while I was schooling ! Yay for the roadside pick up of a twin tub and as Jurg was able to fix the spin dry it works perfectly !

The resident Pelicans, Black Swans and Water Hens keep us company. Sadly this is as close as we can get before they take off !
