Exmouth Still 5th till 10th July

The Children have spent a bit of time over at Gav at Bird's Eye View playing with his dog and little remote helicopters - we have been told they are good kids and not in the way ! They have been escaping the school bus and Mum I think !

We spent a day exploring Cape Range NP stopping off on beaches and exploring the sand dune, back to the NP Visitors Centre - great display of the local area.

Then off to the gorge at Yardie Creek at the bottom end of the NP.  We had a picnic lunch and then did the hour walk along the gorge.

We had just spotted a rare Black Footed Wallaby when a noisy tour boat and guide putted quietly down the stream (!) I'm glad that they were having fun but they were disturbing the shy Wallaby.

Followed by a sunset from the Vlamingh Head Lighthouse.

We couldn't resist !  www.ningaloomicrolights.com.au  We had to have a flight !  It was the owners birthday so three friends and his brother were all in Microlites and 2 spare seats for Jurg and I - the children not so game ... yet !  So with 4 lining up to take off it was really busy !  We had an hour in the air flying in formation ! Over the Gulf, watching the sunset -
So beautiful. So free.
