Lake argyle

Lake Argyle is our first sight to see back in WA land then decide to stay a couple of nights at the resort.

The dam wall.

 A beautiful infinity pool.

And the annual event of the Dam to Dam boat race on the Ord River back to Kununurra.

A short drive up a spillway creek to ..... you guested it -to fish ! A quick look for crocs and a quick dip to cool off.

A sunset spot - of course ! And this time no one but us there.

Red winged parrot.

 Bower Bird Nest

Kununurra & Wyndham

Drive in - pit stop, visited Rockalong Stone Works for Zebra Rock - and head to Wyndham - end up camping at The Grotto just south of Wyndham, all to ourselves !

Walk down to the grotto 140 steps and a nice little spot - would be delightful if there was water running in. It would be even better if we didn't find 2 dead cane toads and 3 we had to exterminate - yucky !

We stay 4 nights at The Grotto and make several trips into Wyndham.

The Grotto's rock paintings.

The Five River Lookout - the best part there ! Had to see the jetty and give the fishing a go ! Nope no dinner !

We had to witness the 8m tide.

We drove to the Prison Boab Tree.

We visited the Aborigine Sculptures and the Wyndham Crocodile !

Went to a bird hide on Parry's Lagoon.

We drove back to Kununurra and visited another Zebra Rock Gallery, another pit stop before heading to the Gibb River Road.
