Kings Canyon - Watarrka

We started our day after some 'quick' inspection of damage done to the bus yesterday getting bogged ! Then off we go.

We do The Rim walk of 6 km's with deviations adding up to a total of 8 km's ! So worth it the view was spectacular..

We first ventured into the gorge following the creek.

Then the Around the rim, to start 400 steps up !

Und rauf gehts

400 Tritte bis zum Rim der Schlucht      

                                                  Rewarded with lunch and a view

 The rock formations are so interesting.

 Now to cross the bridge to get to the lookout. 1930 was the last rock fall that they had ! Not today please !

 The Garden of Eden had to be included ! Very confusing signage "Please don't swim" and "Please be careful when entering the water" !!
