Kakadu
We arrive quiet early and got a good spot before the camp spot filled up. We settle in, a walk down to the river to look for crocodiles.
A quiet moment for husband !
Set up camp - This is our bed for a couple of days ! - nice and cool, off the ground and safe
More fires - fairly continues we are told in the NP, they manage it with fires.
They have 6 season up here according to the locals.
This fella was painting the didgeridoos and then played for us at the Cultural Centre at Cooinda
We drove down to Jim Jim Billabong. The creek on the side of the road.
Then walked up the creek to the billabong.

Yellow River board walk and Gian-Luca is enjoying his bird book !
A walk with a ranger. We spot our first crocodile in the wild.
Green Ants we are told are nice eating - though we will have to wait till we are out of the NP to try them as it is a $600 fine for interfering with the wildlife ! Is eating interfering I wonder ?
And sunset over Yellow River after our ranger guided walk.
The next day we have a Sunrise Yellow River Tour and breakfast.
